What's going on in Limerick City this Halloween
Lumen Street Theatre bring ‘Samhain’, Limerick’s Halloween Festival, back to the streets of Limerick between 26th – 28th October. Celebrating, re-imagining and retelling local Halloween stories through history, folklore and traditions.
This bespoke festival will celebrate local folklore and traditions through talks and workshops, and fun educational events for children that will include spooky storytelling, all set within this ancient part of the city.
Limerick’s favourite pumpkin patch is back! Sprinkle pumpkin fairy dust across the patch to find your favourite pumpkin to carve. Master carvers will be on hand to help out if you need a little inspiration! Visitors can take a walk through the pumpkin patch, take a picture at the Halloween globe and pick their perfect pumpkin to carve.
Step into the world of enchantment as you meet Hattie O’Goodspell, the beloved good witch of Munster, in her magical house. Hattie is eager to welcome all the little ones and showcase her fantastic broomstick and hat collection, as well as amaze them with a display of her extraordinary magic spells!
Each child attending the event will receive a delightful sweet treat from the friendly witch herself. To capture these enchanting moments forever, our professional photographer will be on hand to take some bewitching photographs of your little ones with Hattie. You’ll have the opportunity to view and purchase these magical memories immediately after your visit!
This is a children’s event suitable from the ages 3 years and above ( Note adults must be on site at all times to supervise child during the event)
The Trick of Treat Hunt is open between the hours of 10am – 2pm please arrive between these times to collect your Trick or Treat map at the Lough Gur Visitor Centre, once you have completed the hunt you return to the Visitor centre to claim your prize.
