Recently we have installed a bird nesting box and insect hotel on our grounds.
Insect hotels give shelter and nesting facilities to many types of insects in all seasons. It may provide temporary or permanent home for solitary bees or wasps or be a safe space for insects to hatch. All the bugs are essential to healthy ecosystems, pollination and soil quality and attract birds, for whom we have placed a new nesting box that will hopefully become home to chicks soon.
