Donate to Hometree

The Limerick Strand Hotel is proud to be the first hotel in Limerick to establish a partnership with the Charity Hometree. We are reinforcing our commitment to environmental responsibility. We pledge to donate funds to the charity by planting a native Irish tree for each conference of over 100 attendees and for every wedding which takes place in the hotel.

Hometree was founded in 2014 and have planted over 150,000 native trees to date such as Scots pine, willow and alder. The charity encourages public involvement in enhancing Ireland’s habitats and biodiversity through regenerating land, conserving and restoring permanent woodlands. They also host workshops, talks and work with artists to educate about issues relevant to climate change and biodiversity loss and to facilitate reconnection with nature.
