Located at Barnagh Greenway Hub, Locomotion Bike Rental has direct access to the Limerick Greenway and is just 45 minutes from the Limerick Strand Hotel. Developed along the old Limerick to Tralee railway line, the Limerick Greenway interweaves through West Limerick’s stunning green agricultural landscape, connecting the major towns of Rathkeale, Newcastle West and Abbeyfeale. The Greenway surface was designed for mobility and inclusivity, and is safe and accessible to all.

The locomotion bike rental store is located at Barnagh Greenway Hub, which is just a stone’s throw from the Greenway. You have direct access to the Greenway at the back of the building.

For the bike rental, you will need –

Photo ID & proof of address is required for all bike rental bookings.

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, an adult must sign for bikes for children aged 16-18.

Pick up and drop-off location for bike hire is at Locomotion Bike Rental at Barnagh Greenway Hub, Conveniently located on the Limerick Greenway, between Newcastle West and Abbey Feale.

Bikes can be rented per day, picked up any time from 09:30 am and drop off before the shop closes.
