The Limerick Strand Hotel is the perfect place to relax over stunning views of the Shannon and enjoy our superb award-winning breakfast.
As well as the usual fruits and juices, fresh fruit salad and warming porridge , there is a tempting range of bread and pastries baked in-house, a healthy smoothie option, an extensive tea and coffee menu and hot dishes, alongside a good rendition of the full Irish featuring local breakfast meats.
Our culinary team pride itself in serving the finest quality of Irish cuisine. All our menus including breakfast reflect a passion for high-quality locally grown produce. We partner with as many local farms & dairies as possible to source the finest fresh ingredients which allow us to take pride in our unique Irish menus. We use real, fresh, high-quality, locally sourced produce which makes Ireland’s food industry the best in the world.
Our Executive Chef Patrick Anslow wants to offer guests a pure taste of the Wild Atlantic Way and works extra hard to get there by supporting local artisan producers.
We proudly use as many local producers as possible in our full Irish offering including Flesk Meats Irish Bacon, Loughnanes Pork Sausages & Black & White Pudding along with Croom Scrambled Free Range Egg
Patrick also operates an in-house bakery selection making freshly baked bread and muffins daily. In addition, we make our own homemade chutneys and jams.
