Our Christmas Eve & Christmas Day Dining Has Now Ended
Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at the 4* Limerick Strand Hotel. Our festive dining experiences have now concluded, and we were delighted to once again welcome guests into a beautifully decorated setting filled with seasonal warmth, music and festive cheer.
From the scent of mulled wine in the lobby to the twinkling Christmas décor throughout the hotel, guests enjoyed a truly magical atmosphere as they gathered with family and friends to mark the season.
A Look Back at Our Festive Dining Experience
Christmas Eve was a firm favourite, with guests enjoying our popular Christmas Eve Buffet Lunch in the Shannon Suite. This four-course festive lunch, prepared by our award-winning culinary team, was accompanied by live music from Limerick’s renowned crooner Liam O’Brien, along with a magic show and a special visit from Santa Claus, making it a memorable occasion for families.
For those seeking a more relaxed celebration, guests also joined us in the award-winning River Bar & Restaurant for Christmas Eve Lunch, enjoying a limited seasonal menu and a leisurely drink by the fire in a cosy, festive setting.
On Christmas Day, celebrations continued with a luxurious 5-course Christmas Lunch in the Shannon Suite. Guests were welcomed with arrival drinks in the foyer before being escorted to their tables, where an amuse-bouche and beautifully crafted festive menu awaited. Live music throughout the afternoon and a special gift for each child completed the experience, creating a truly memorable Christmas Day celebration.
