Bunratty Castle
Bunratty Castle is a castle between Shannon and Limerick in Mid West Ireland. Bunratty in Gaelic means the ‘bottom’ or end of the ‘Ratty’ river. The castle was built in 1425 and was restored in 1954.Adjacent to Bunratty Castle is an extensive folk park, particularly popular with families, tourists and schools.
